This life-size sculpture features a 50-foot adult humpback whale and a 20-foot calf, installed in the main lobby of the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium. Weighing 4,400 pounds, the sculpture was engineered to break into eight pieces to fit through the Aquarium’s 6 ft. x 9 ft. doors, with final assembly completed inside. Assisted by his brother Dan Kesler, Stephen Kesler oversaw every detail from fabrication to final installation. With structural plans approved by Draper City, this breathtaking installation invites visitors to marvel at the scale and beauty of these majestic marine mammals.
